When a patient comes in with a cavity, we remove that cavity from the tooth and then we’re able to place a filling material to seal off that tooth to make sure that the patient doesn’t get any more cavities and to prevent the cavity that was originally there from getting any worse and destroying more tooth structure. We don’t use metal fillings. We use tooth-colored fillings and we’re able to match the shade of our filling materials to the patient’s tooth color to make it look as natural as possible.
